Get in touch with Warrior Insure

Questions and feedback on FEHB, FEGLI, VGLI, home and auto coverage, plus corrections to anything published here.

01. Send a message

The form routes directly to Warrior Insure. Nothing entered here is shared with third parties, used for marketing, or kept beyond what is needed to read and answer your message.

02. What happens next

Every message goes straight to Warrior Insure. There is no support team, no queue and no assistant in between. Messages are read in batches, usually once or twice a week.

Most do not get an individual reply, partly because of volume and partly because most messages are feedback that shapes future writing rather than questions needing a personal answer. Two kinds always get a response: factual corrections to published pages and time-sensitive content problems. Tick the box on the form and those are prioritised.

03. What this page cannot help with

Warrior Insure is a reference site, not an insurer, agent or benefits office. Some things readers reasonably ask about are better routed elsewhere:

  • Enrolling in or changing FEHB, FEDVIP or FSAFEDS. Go through your agency's HR benefits office, or through OPM Retirement Services if you are an annuitant.
  • A denied FEHB claim. Use your plan's own appeal process first, which is set out in Section 8 of the plan brochure. If that fails, OPM reviews disputed claims.
  • FEGLI elections, beneficiaries or death claims. Forms SF 2817 and SF 2823 go through your HR office, and the FEGLI Handbook covers the rules.
  • SGLI, VGLI, VALife and other VA insurance. The Office of Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance administers these. VA's insurance line is 800-419-1473.
  • A quote, a policy change or a claim with a private insurer. Contact the carrier directly. If a carrier will not resolve it, your state insurance department takes complaints.
  • Reviewing your own documents. Please do not send policy paperwork, claim files, medical records, SF 50s or anything with a Social Security number. Sending personal records to a website is a privacy mistake, and nothing useful can be done with them here.
  • Mental health crisis or suicidal thoughts. Call or text the Veterans Crisis Line at 988, then press 1, text 838255, or chat at veteranscrisisline.net. Available 24/7, and you do not need to be enrolled in VA care to use it.

None of that is unwillingness to help. It is that the right kind of help for those is structurally different from what a reference site can give. Use those routes first, then come back here if something published needs correcting.

04. Press, research and other outreach

Journalists working on federal benefits or veterans' insurance stories are welcome to request comment, background or source verification on anything published here. Put "press" in the subject and include your deadline.

Researchers and policy analysts are welcome too, and Warrior Insure is happy to discuss the data and citations behind any specific page. Outreach from lead-generation businesses, quote brokers or anyone selling sponsored placements will not get a response, for the reasons set out on the advertiser disclosure page.
