Advertiser disclosure and how we rank
How Warrior Insure makes money, and what that does and does not change.
The short version
Some links on this site may pay us a commission if you get a quote or buy a policy. That money never buys a ranking, a recommendation, or a mention. Any page carrying such a link says so at the top of the page.
How we rank
When a guide ranks or compares insurers, these are the criteria, in the order they are weighted:
- Price for the stated profile. Every comparison names the driver, household or employee profile it uses, so the number means something.
- Claims experience. Complaint records and satisfaction data, from regulators and independent studies rather than the carrier's own marketing.
- Financial strength. Independent ratings of the insurer's ability to pay claims.
- Eligibility fit. Whether a federal employee, service member or veteran can actually get the product and the discount described.
- Terms that matter. Deductible structures, exclusions, and the conditions that decide what a bad year costs.
Commission rates are not a criterion and are not consulted when a guide is written or updated.
What we will not do
- Accept payment for a place in a ranking, a review score, or a "best" list.
- Let a carrier review a page before it is published.
- Remove criticism of a product because it earns a commission.
- Present a sponsored placement as an editorial recommendation.
- Sell or pass your personal information to insurers or lead buyers. There are no quote forms on this site.
Government programmes are never commercial
FEHB, FEGLI, FEDVIP, SGLI, VGLI and VALife are federal programmes. Nobody pays a commission on them, and no page about them is influenced by advertising in any way. Where those pages compare a federal programme with a private policy, the comparison exists because the arithmetic is real, not because one side pays.
Accuracy and corrections
Every guide carries the date its figures were last checked against the source. Rates for federal programmes change each year, usually in the autumn, and pages are updated when they do. If you find an error, use the contact form and it will be corrected with the update date changed.
